Used Rail Clamps

Hello Rick its me again Darren E from the UK.
I have always been told that you need to leave a certain amount of "gap" between the rails, for expansion. As the rails expand in the heat! This applys to 00 Gauge Garden Railways, I would guess it would still apply to Larger scales? you might need to check up on that.

I like your idea of the elevation, Very cool.

Although you are useing Clamps and Fishplates, I would suggest soldering wire from rail to rail, in order to bypass the Fishplates. Even if you had new connectors, they will over time become dirty, and will fail. The soldering from Rail to Rail should solve this problem. Right.. I'm off for a bit to check out your other videos..
